Our 2026 offsite was more than just a look back. It was an opportunity to exchange ideas away from the daily grind, to put challenges into perspective together, and to gain new inspiration for the coming months.

Effective collaboration happens when people talk to one another, share different perspectives, and develop solutions together. That’s exactly what we took the time to do in Budapest.
Our workshops and joint sessions focused not only on strategic topics but, above all, on further strengthening collaboration between teams, departments, and countries.

What the Past 12 Months Have Shown Us
Development isn’t just about looking ahead. During our offsite, we took time to look back together on the past twelve months: at key developments, challenges, experiences, and successes. This wasn’t merely a matter of taking stock. The crucial question was:
What do we learn from this—and what do we take with us?
The open discussion helped us contextualize these developments, share our experiences with one another, and build a shared understanding of the next steps.

Looking back also served as a starting point for looking ahead. What issues will we be addressing in the future? Where can we collaborate more effectively? And what will it take for us to achieve our shared goals?
The answers to these questions don’t emerge from a single workshop. They develop step by step—through dialogue, accountability, and a willingness to work together to move things forward.

Time for Connection
Collaboration Doesn’t End at the Conference Table
After intensive workshops and discussions, we headed out together onto the Danube in the evening. Over dinner, during the cruise through Budapest, and in many one-on-one conversations, we created space for what is sometimes neglected in our day-to-day work: getting to know each other better, celebrating successes together, and engaging in meaningful conversation.
Expressions of gratitude, personal encounters, and inspiring conversations brought our offsite to a close.

“Make It Count” was more than just the motto of our offsite. It describes what really matters in our day-to-day work—and how our values and culture are an integral part of it. We approach every task—and every client—with the same energy we had on day one. No routine. No complacency. Always Day One. The 2026 offsite showed us once again how important it is to come together regularly, combine our perspectives, and look ahead together.
