Proper disposal of ESLs
At the end of the product life cycle, we take care of the professional disposal of your electronic price tags. Our service includes nationwide collection, legally compliant documentation and forwarding to certified recycling partners.
In this way, we ensure that your digital price tags are recycled in an environmentally friendly manner and in accordance with all legal requirements.

Legal requirements & obligations
At the end of their life cycle, electronic price tags are subject to special legal and environmental requirements:
- Legal requirements: Electronic price tags contain electronic components and batteries and are therefore considered waste electrical and electronic equipment under the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG). They may not be disposed of with household or commercial waste, but are subject to a separate recycling obligation, which has been indicated by the crossed-out wheelie garbage can symbol since 2023.
- Raw material and environmental protection: If disposed of improperly, valuable metals are lost and harmful substances can be released.
- Responsibility in retail: Obligations to take back small appliances apply from certain sales areas (e.g. > 400 or 800 m²).
Your advantages at a glance
Our services offer you a wide range of benefits when it comes to disposal:
- Legal safety: All relevant regulations according to ElektroG and BattG are fully covered.
- Transparency & traceability: Every step - from collection to transportation to recycling - is documented.
- Conservation of resources: WEEE becomes a source of raw materials instead of being incinerated or disposed of in residual waste.
- Operational relief: We take over the operational process - you can concentrate on your core business.
You fulfill all obligations without logistical effort, save time and avoid legal risks.
