Depending on the manufacturer, model and use, button cell batteries last an average of 3-5 years. Modern electronic price tag systems monitor the battery status and report in good time when a battery is running low (e.g. via a symbol on the label or a message in the software). A change should then be made at the latest in order to avoid failures.

No. Our service is designed to work for you without interruption. The changeover can take place during normal opening hours, quickly and during ongoing operations. Your customers and store processes are not disrupted. Alternatively, we offer to carry out the battery replacement outside opening hours - early in the morning or in the evening, for example - so that there is really no disruption at all.

This depends on the number of electronic labels. As a rule, one battery change per price tag is completed in less than a minute. A skilled technician can replace several hundred labels per day. For a medium-sized store with e.g. 200-300 ESLs, the service is often completed within a few hours. For very large projects (thousands of price tags), we may schedule one or two days of work - always in line with your operating procedures.

Yes, the environmentally friendly disposal of used batteriesis part of our service. You don't have to worry about anything else. We recycle all removed batteries and comply with the requirements of the Battery Act. This means you actively contribute tosustainabilitywithout any additional effort on your part.

The costs depend on the work involved - in particular the number of price tags to be exchanged, the location and any special features. You will receive an individual offer from us following your inquiry. In many cases, the planned battery change issignificantly cheaperthan replacing the entire price tag hardware. Regular battery replacement can extend the service life of your digital labels to up to 15 years, thus reducing investment costs in the long term.
