OMS Retail GmbH impresses at EuroCIS 2025

EuroCIS impressively underscored its position as Europe's leading trade fair for retail technology from February 18 to 20 in Düsseldorf (Germany). With 500 exhibitors from 37 countries and over 14,000 trade visitors from 95 nations, the trade fair more than lived up to its reputation as a driver of innovation in the industry. The focus was on pioneering technologies that will have a lasting impact on the retail sector.

Technological innovations shape retail

Artificial intelligence (AI) dominated the discussions at the trade fair. Generative AI solutions in particular revealed new perspectives for customer service and process optimization.

The topic of seamless checkout also continued to gain in importance: automated checkout solutions and smart shopping carts demonstrated what the payment process of the future could look like. A separate special area was dedicated to IT security in retail - a topic that is becoming increasingly important in the face of increasing digitalization.

In addition to technical innovations, EuroCIS also focused on new concepts for customer loyalty and retail media. The integration of different sales channels and personalized shopping experiences are becoming decisive success factors in modern retail. The presentation of the reta awards from the EHI Retail Institute underlined the innovative strength of the industry.

Trade fair presentation impresses across the board

In the midst of this innovative atmosphere, OMS Retail presented itself to an international audience for the first time. As a specialist for personnel-intensive tasks in the retail sector, the company presented its complete service portfolio.

The 21m² stand became a popular meeting point for trade visitors. The uniform appearance of the trade fair team was also particularly well received: Dressed in the corporate colors of red and blue - from the white shirt and blue trousers to the striking red shoelaces - the team conveyed professionalism and togetherness.

Digitalization meets expertise

"The topic of Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL) met with great interest," reports Achim Höfer, CEO of OMS Retail GmbH. "The combination of our proven route concept and manufacturer-independent consulting convinced the visitors." In addition to the full service offering in the area of digital price tags , the experts also presented the established areas of Inventory Service and Instore Service presented.

The trade fair clearly showed that stationary retail is developing into a smart store. Digital price labelling, automated processes and data-driven decisions are shaping the future of retail. ‘This is exactly where our services fit in,’ explains Höfer. ‘We support retailers in implementing these technologies efficiently and utilising them optimally.’

Prospects for the future

EuroCIS 2025 made it clear that the retail sector is in an exciting phase of transformation. As an experienced service provider, OMS Retail supports its customers in the successful implementation of these challenges.
"A big thank you to our fantastic trade fair team for their tireless efforts," praises Höfer. "The mix of expertise and passion was palpable for every visitor!"

Following the successful trade fair debut, the next highlight has already been decided: OMS Retail will be represented at EuroShop 2026.
"The extremely positive response at EuroCIS encourages us to further intensify the direct dialog with our customers and partners," explains Höfer.

The next EuroShop will take place in Düsseldorf (Germany) from February 22 to 26, 2026.
