Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/f)

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of our cloud-based infrastructure. You will work closely with our development, QA and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of our applications. Your role is critical to the automation, monitoring and optimization of our development and production environments.

Tasks:

• Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test and deployment processes.
• Configure and optimize CI/CD tools to streamline software delivery and ensure code quality.
• Containerization of applications, management of container clusters and automation of deployment and scaling.
• Setting up monitoring and alerting systems with established technologies and tools to track system performance, detect anomalies and proactively respond to incidents.
• Implement security best practices and compliance standards to ensure coding practices and effective vulnerability management.
• Promote collaboration and communication between cross-functional teams
• Optimize system performance, scalability and reliability through infrastructure optimization techniques
• Documenting infrastructure, processes and best practices and sharing knowledge with team members
• Identify automation opportunities and develop scripts, tools and workflows to automate manual processes and improve efficiency

Required qualifications

• Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or a related field
• Certifications in relevant technologies and methods are an advantage
• Cloud computing platforms (Microsoft Azure)
• Database maintenance (MongoDB), including investigation and implementation of planned upgrades
• Implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
• Continuous monitoring and logging (Elasticsearch, Kibana)
• Version control system (Git)
• Support planning (outside of business hours)
• Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Network concepts and protocols, load balancing and firewalls
• Security best practices and principles
• Knowledge of operating systems for system administration, troubleshooting and performance optimization
• Strong communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Ability to coordinate different teams
• Willingness to learn continuously
• Results-oriented approach to work
