We’re looking for an Android Engineer (m/f/d) who thrives on tackling complex technical challenges and is eager to deliver robust, high-quality features. Your key responsibilites:
• Work with the latest Android technologies & frameworks
• Develop and test quality features from start to end using best practices and according to our standards
• Analyse system requirements
• Write clean, testable code and deliver solutions fit for the purpose
• Proactively ensure scalability and performance of the deliverables
• Comply with secure code development
• Develop technical specifications and designs
• Perform code reviews, test, and debug
• Refactor code
• Document development and designs
• Propose frameworks and tools
• Share knowledge within the team
• Participate in the Agile SDLC
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technology developments
Your Qualifications
• University Degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline or proved relevant experience
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on coding experience using Kotlin or Java
• Fair understanding of the Android SDK i.e. Views, ways to get data from the web and store data, adapting apps for different screen sizes
• Knowledge of SQLite or similar etc
• Good usage of Android Studio or similar
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and technology developments
• Management reporting: Using established (and/or informal) flows of information ensure important issues, risks and other problems reach the Product Development Lead for guidance and further handling
• Knowledge of Git
• Fluent in English
